This year, the open days in monuments at VILLES SUR AUZON will be
particularly rich.
- Discovery of the church of the village from 10 am till 12 am
and from 3 pm till 5 pm.
- Private collection (Rural museum. Old professions, old
work tools more than 2500 items). Don't miss it !
These two visits will take place during these two days.
Saturday 19th of September meeting at 9 am on la Place du 8 Mai
for an explained tour (4km) on the waters and the fountains of VILLES SUR AUZON.
The fountain of le Grand Portail and the three others - The pond of Vilari - The spring
of Pignand.
Sunday 20th of September meeting à la Place du 8 Mai at 9 amfor a day in the forest under the direction of the hunters who will
talk about the flora, the fauna, truffles and mushrooms.
Visit of Pié Gros where you can see the work that has been done
by the APARE. A picnic lunch is planified at the Pas du Loup.
The hunters have gently proposed to the persons who don't have
appropriate cars for the forest roads to take them with them in
their cars.
These two visits can only be done on reservation at Mme JACQUEMUS,
Deputy of the town council of VILLES SUR AUZON, in the moring at the 04 90 61 82 05.

THE DAY OF THE GRAPE OF THE VENTOUX AT VILLES SUR AUZON
SUNDAY 27TH OF SEPTEMBER 2009
The first edition of this big day will be organized by the village
of VILLES SUR AUZON. This day will make the difference by the
quality of the products exposed by the producers who will
accept our invitation.
The purpose of this day is to discover and to get to know this grape produced on the
land of VILLES SUR AUZON and the surroundings in accordance with the theme
"From the land to the table".
Besides the grape producers and the winemakers, we'll be very glad to let also participate
producers of olive oil, cow cheese, truffles, different sorts of bread, honey, natural fruit juice,
gingerbread, spelt, jam, pastry, lavender and its derived products.
Determined upon the number of participants who will expose their products the stands will
be disposed at the principal street and at "la Place de la Mairie".
the shop owners of the village will decorate their windows, and the restaurant owners will
base their menus on "the grape".
The feast starts at 10 am, the opening at 11 am and at twelve, a drink will be offered by the
winemakers of TERRAVENTOUX.
The pressing of the grapes will be done at the cellar of TERRAVENTOUX between 2 pm and
5 pm.
"The Grapevine and the Grape" will be the theme of the drawing contest at 3 pm with the
participation of the children of the school of VILLES SUR AUZON.
A conference about organic grapes and its history will be happening at the multifunctional
room at 3:30 pm.
Before, the anouncement of the pastry contest will have been made and at 4 pm, the jury
made up of the restaurant owners and the bread-pastry cook of VILLES SUR AUZON, will
hand the award to the winner of this contest.
The end of this day at 5 pm. 
Program of the day.
9:30 am Market of the producers (many local products).
10 am The official opening of the feast with the presentation of the program.
10h30 A press point at the stand of the "Joint Association of Development
and Facilities of the Mont Ventoux for the official presentation
of the program of the Festival "Ventoux Saveurs Nature" 2009
from 10 till 24 october.
11 am The opening.
12 am A drink offered by the winemakers of TERRAVENTOUX.
14 pm till 5 pm The pressing of the grapes at the wine cellar TERRAVENTOUX.
3 pm Drawing contest "The Grapevine and the Grape" with the participation
of the children of the school of VILLES SUR AUZON.
3:30 pm Conference about organic grapes, presented by Mme Eliane JOUMON
at the multifunctional room.
4 pm Pastry contest (with grapes as the main ingredient).
5 pm The end of the day.
